Individual Consultation at CONTACTA
is a safe, attentive and genuine space for human contact, where you can pause and look at your life without pressure or judgement. It is a place where you are not rushed and where no views or ready-made answers are imposed on you.
We work within the Gestalt approach, which can help you listen to yourself more closely, become more aware of your needs, feelings and choices, and explore a path towards change that feels right for you.
You will work with a Gestalt practitioner in training whose professional work is supported by regular supervision. This approach combines accessible psychological support with professional guidance for the practitioner.
Consultations are also provided by Gestalt therapists who have completed their professional training.
At CONTACTA, we follow the principles of professional ethics and respect your pace, boundaries and right to make your own choices at every stage of the consultation process.
Our approach combines Gestalt practice, training and supervision so that psychological support can be humane, accessible and professional at the same time.
CONTACTA is a place for conversation, connection and change at your own pace.
Who Are Individual Consultations For?
Individual consultations are suitable for people experiencing inner tension, fatigue, confusion or a lack of support, even if they are not yet sure how to formulate what they would like to discuss.
They may be helpful if you would like to better understand yourself, your emotions and reactions, your relationships with others, or situations that keep recurring in your life.
Consultations can also provide support during periods of change, difficult decisions or emotionally challenging stages of life, when you need a space to pause, talk things through and look at what is happening from a different perspective.
You do not need to prepare a specific topic or formulate a precise request in advance — the conversation can begin with whatever feels important to you right now.
Booking Questions
The Centre provides services to adults aged 18 and over.
You can book online through our website by choosing your preferred consultation language, format — online or in person (including the city for an in-person appointment) — and time.
You can select a specific practitioner directly, or the system can automatically match you with a suitable therapist.
The first consultation is a relaxed opportunity to get acquainted and talk about what is important to you at the moment. You do not need to prepare a specific request or know where to begin — the therapist will help guide the conversation at your pace.
You will be able to ask questions, become familiar with the way the sessions work and see whether this format feels right for you.
A consultation may be rescheduled once free of charge, provided notice is given no later than 24 hours before the scheduled start time. If the consultation is cancelled, you do not attend, or you request another rescheduling, the payment is non-refundable. A new booking and payment are required for a new consultation time.
A team dedicated to supporting you
Our team brings together Gestalt practitioners who are currently undergoing professional training, Gestalt therapists — professionals who have completed their training and are in the process of establishing their professional practice — as well as experienced supervisors who support practitioners in their work and create a space for professional support and development.
Frequently Asked Questions
Consultations are provided by Gestalt practitioners (4th- and 5th-year students in Gestalt therapy training) who are currently undergoing professional training. All work is conducted within the Gestalt approach and is regularly supported by professional supervision, providing an additional level of quality, accountability, and safety in the therapeutic process.
Gestalt therapists are professionals who have completed their training, fulfilled the required number of practical training hours, and are beginning independent professional practice. Their work may also be supported by supervision, helping to maintain high professional standards and continuous professional development.
An individual consultation always involves only two people — the client and the Gestalt practitioner or early-career professional.
No third parties, observers or other participants are present in the room or in the online session during the consultation.
Everything that takes place during the consultation remains within the individual therapeutic space and is protected by the principles of confidentiality and professional ethics.
Online consultations are conducted using secure communication platforms.
Sessions are not recorded, stored or shared with third parties.
Both the practitioner and the client are asked to ensure a private environment without other people present during the session.
The same confidentiality principles apply to online sessions as to in-person consultations.
Supervision is a form of professional support in which a practitioner discusses their work with a more experienced professional.
Its purpose is to support the quality of the therapeutic process, ethical practice and professional clarity, particularly when a therapist is still in training. It is an important professional process for both therapists in training and experienced practitioners.
Only anonymised information is used in supervision — without names, personal data or other identifying details.
No. Supervision is an integral part of professional practice, and clients are informed about it in advance.
Its purpose is not to evaluate the client, but to provide professional support to the therapist and help maintain the quality of the support provided.
Supervision provides an additional level of safety and professional accountability.
It helps the therapist maintain a broader perspective on the process, work with complex issues and respect the client’s boundaries.
For the client, this means stable, ethical and attentive psychological support.
